BIFMA – Business and Institutional Furnitures Manufacturers Association is an organisation which develop standards for institutional / office furniture. BIFMA established in 1973.

BIFMA”s standards created by BIFMA are accepted worldwide and have been implemented by most of the furniture giants. The acceptance of the standard is a parameter for the quality and safety of a piece as well as acts as a way to make it marketable to multiple countries.
